First impressions often happen on your site.
Visitors to your site want to learn who you are, which issues you work with and how sessions work. I turn the answers into headings that are easy to find and text that is easy to read.
My psychology background makes me familiar with the concepts you use and the language of your profession. I present your title, training and areas of work from the information you give me, and send everything for your approval before publishing.
What your site can include.
- About you: your training, your professional experience and the way you work.
- Areas of work: the issues and age groups you work with.
- Sessions: your in-person and online options.
- Contact: the address and directions you want to share.
- Writing: a blog option for publishing your own articles.
We finish the text together.
Once we agree on the quote, I send you an information form. You don’t need to write finished website text; I draft it from your answers. Then we choose the photos and finalize the text together.
I don’t need any client information or session notes to build the site. If you want an appointment request form, we decide separately which contact details it collects.
What should your site include?
Identity introduces you on a single page. Professional has 6–9 main content pages that give your areas of work their own space. Publishing adds a blog panel to these pages, where you can add and edit your own writing.
A standard domain, hosting and SSL are included for the first year. Identity comes with 1 email account, the other two options with 2. Search Console setup and the maintenance and support set out in your quote are included too. The domain is registered in your name; renewal fees and extra work are listed separately in the quote. Google Analytics setup is optional and considered separately.
Showing up in search.
I prepare page titles, links and content so search engines can read them. This structure can also help AI tools that search the web recognize you. There is no guarantee of a particular position on Google or of a place in AI recommendations.
My own site as an example.
You can see the kind of work I do on this site. I explain the decisions I made, from the loom to the thread, and what carries over to your site.
